O LORD, I reckon I’m not much by myself;
I fail to do a lot of things I ought to do;
But, Lord, when trails are steep and pass is high,
Help me ride it straight the whole way thru.
And in the falling dusk, when I get the final call,
I do not care how many flowers they send;
Above all, the happiest trail will be,
For you to say to me, “Let’s ride, My friend.”
Darcy was the lovely husband of our dear friend Teresa. We got to know Darcy because of Teresa. We shared many special ocassiones together and at the restaurants we always look for Darcy’s advise over what to order. His taste for good food was incomparable. We also enjoyed delicious food prepared by him for us at their home. My husband, Rolando, and I enjoyed very much Darcy and Teresa’s company. We know in our Christian faith Darcy is now in heaven. Our Lord Jesus prepared a room for Darcy at His Father’s house, John 14:2-3. That is our hope and we rejoice over it. We miss Darcy and we will always missed him but we will be reunited again in God’s time. In the meantime; we look forward to sharing more time with our Teresita and her parents who are our Dear family in Christ here in Texas. Many blessings and much love. Rolando + Patricia
Teresa and family, my deepest condolences on Darcy’s passing. I’m so glad you both were able to attend the Hayduk family reunion a couple years back and I will keep those memories and laughs in mind in this sad time. Karen
My old friend, hug my Chris for me. I know you will! My heart is so full of emotion at your loss. Life is so short… I believe the first time you met my son was at his grandmother’s funeral. I love you, my friend. ♥️
Teresa, I was blessed to reconnect with Darcy, a couple of years ago. He would share memories of my dad and the Calmar Farm. Meeting you and seeing Darcy at the Haydukcon 2017 was so awesome. I am so glad you found each other. I am sad that it was for only a short time. HUG!
Rest In Peace Darcy
To Teresa, I already sent you a message if you ever need to talk I am here. You had a great husband and I know he will be missed by you and your family. He Loved you so much.
To Nicole: I haven’t seen you since you were just a little girl. I have a lot of memories of you.(especially Arizona) . I know Darcy was proud of you and his grandchildren, and he was very happy with his wife. We stayed friends and shared information on our grandchildren with each other.
When my husband died he gave me kind words. It’s rare when people are divorced that they can be friends. But we were. He was a kind soul.
Heidi and Jessica (Darcy’s second daughter & Nicole’s sister) hope the family have found peace.
