Dakota Blake Bowers, 24 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on July 28, 2024. He was born on June 22, 2000 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Dakota dreamed of being a country music artist. He was an amazing harmonica player, loved writing songs, playing guitar, and loved making music. Dakota was our neon cowboy, had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He was an amazing brother to his siblings and also loved pestering his twin sister endlessly. Dakota was the most selfless person you would ever meet and the sweetest, he loved his family completely. He was always back roading with his friend, fishing and living life to the fullest.
Dakota is survived by his twin sister, Brianna Bower, sister, Krystal Bowers and brother, Patrick Bowers and numerous Aunts, Uncles, friends, and other family members.
Preceded in death by his Nanny, Pamela Bowers Stinson; Uncle, Curtis Bowers; Papa, Kenneth Gale Stinson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Funeral Service will be held, Friday, August 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at McAlester Cemetery in Overbrooke, Oklahoma.
Dakota, your great aunt loves you so much. You are missed.
Dakota and Brianna, I so enjoyed being your school counselor back at Callisburg HS. I have just learned of Dakota’s passing. Brianna, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart hurts for you right now. I pray that you are surrounded by love and comfort. I do remember Dakota and his sweet, warm spirit and light. We will never forget him. God’s peace and understanding for you and family.
You will be so missed. You were so loved and had a heart of gold.
