Cynthia Marie Lamb, a cherished wife, mother, and celebrated veteran, passed away on March 25th, 2024 surrounded by her family as the sun rose on the horizon of her ranch in Gainesville, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, grace, bravery, and love.

Born on May 10th, 1963, Cindy was a shining example of strength and compassion. When you met her, she would proudly tell you of her family, never mentioning she was a graduate of West Point, an exceptional Army Officer, an extraordinary pilot, badass Airborne Paratrooper, expert field medic, Air Assault Warrior, and highly decorated Soldier and civilian. Rather, she greeted you with a huge smile, deep brown eyes full of love, and a genuine enthusiasm and joy for getting to know you.

Beyond her military achievements, Cindy embodied kindness, empathy, and grace, and her presence and appetite for life made those around her want to be better. Because of this, Cindy was the bedrock of her family, raising three children – Kyle, Tyler, and Marissa. Her love and guidance shaped the lives of her kids, instilling in them the values of compassion, determination, and resilience that she embodied.

Cindy found true love in her best friend and partner, Morgan Lamb. Their bond was built on a foundation of trust, support, and shared adventures. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories. Even in times of uncertainty, Cindy was always the heart and stability of her relationships and her family.

Known for her kind and compassionate nature, Cindy touched the lives of countless people. Her warmth and generosity were evident in every interaction, and her love knew no bounds. She had a profound ability to make everyone around her feel seen, heard, and valued. Her achievements in life were many, but she would humbly say that the lives she touched along the way are the most cherished.

Although Cindy may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and inspired. In life, she was the guiding light that we all navigated by; wherever she was – that was home. She was our constant, the hand of calm, the heart of love. She will forever be loved and forever be missed.  1-2-3.
