I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Bren at the state for years. She was very sweet treated me like her own child. My thoughts and prayers are with your family🙏🙏🙏
Lynn and Family,
Brenda was one of the first people to welcome me back to Whitesboro. We had a lot of laughs together. She had a sarcastic wit and could dish it out as well as she could take it! Until we meet again dear friend…keep the light on for me.First thing I will say to you is “What’s up buttercup?” I’m sure you will have great stories to tell. We will laugh together again. Miss you!
My deepest sympathies to you all.

My fondest memories go back to the time both our families were stationed in Athens Greece . We had so many wonderful experiences together that it’s hard to describe that special one , From that time forward we remained close friends and shared in happy times and sad times. With deepest sympathy . Nanda
Dear Hughes family, sending you lots of love and my deepest condolences. I have special memories of Miss Brenda and your family and the time we shared in Greece, of watching our parents bowl and spending time at your home on your back patio and listening to their laughter. It says a lot when this many years later, that friendship is still strong. Please know we are holding you close and wishing you peace. With love, Jessica (Brummer) Dafashy
Dear Hughes Family
Brenda had a laugh that was robust and contagious. She was not afraid to speak her truth and loved her family tremendously. We are saddened to hear of her passing. Praying for peace and comfort in the days ahead.
I will miss Brenda so much! We were sisters in law and good friends! She loved her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren! She will be missed by all!

We becames good friends and thankfully, when we all got permanent housing, we were close enough to walk to each others house. We had such good times. Thinking of the Hughes family as they go through this difficult time. Sending prayers and (( Hugs )).
Brenda will be missed by all of us. She was a part of our family ever since I was a kid.

We loved our aunt Brenda. She was such a fun and bubbly person. Loved her giggles when she would get tickled about something. Our family will truly miss all the family gatherings we had together.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hughes family. Brenda was such a hoot! Wonderful, funny, loving and a great friend to us, our family and to anyone who knew her. She will be missed.
Go rest high upon that mountain and Rest In Peace Ms Brenda.
I was so heartbroken to learn that Brenda passed away.
We would share stories of our Children growing up and them going to the beach fishing. We were both clerks together at the state and I loved her. She was a precious Friend to me. God please wrap your arms around her precious family.
