September 2, 1939 –  June 10, 2017  GAINESVILLE – Funeral services for Bobbie Nell Johnson, 77, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Ben Willingham officiating.. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View. Visitation will be Monday, June 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home.Mrs. Johnson passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Denton Regional Hospital.
She was born on September 2, 1939 in Gainesville, Texas to Carl Edward Moore and Mary Monta (Sutton) Moore. She married Bobby Wayne Johnson on August 25, 1956 in Gainesville, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Wayne Johnson; children, Cindy Myers and husband Joe of Valley View, Wayne Johnson and wife Marsha of Gainesville and Mary Lou Green of Valley View; 8 grandchildren, Luke, Amanda, Melinda, Cory, Casey, Jacob, Chase and Dylan; 8 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty Garrett & husband Glenn of Gainesville; 2 brothers, Wayne Moore & wife Linda of Gainesville and Don Hastings & wife Gurli of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Melinda Kay Johnson, brother Robert Hastings, grandson Shawn Johnson and great grandson Milo Johnson. .
Pallbearers will be Luke Myers, Cory Green, Casey Johnson, Jacob Green, Chase Green and Dylan Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers are Gage Riley, Cyler Dean and Mason Myers.
