Barbara Joann Davis, 81, of Collinsville, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Barbara was born on May 25, 1941 in Denison, Texas to Earnest and Josie Elaine (Fulenchek) Elmore. She was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ. Barbara worked for Grayson County for over 20 years before retiring. She loved to travel and was able to travel to most of the Continental U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii.
She is survived by her son, Erik Davis; brother, Jimmy Elmore and wife, Karen; as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Josie Elmore and husband, Lynn Davis.
Funeral services honoring Barbara will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Collinsville Church of Christ, officiated by Scott Sides. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held one hour prior to the service time at the church.
