Family:
Oh how we loved Adalphna! She was so sweet, funny, and a little fiesty! We enjoyed visiting with her and talking about everything. As you all know, being her neighbor meant a lot of visiting which we enjoyed! She shared her flowers on numerous occasions as well as wanting to tell us when she would see the red bird in both our yards! She always reminded us that she helped “ build our house” because she really kept an eye on it and the workers… every day! Prayers for you all! It was a great joy and blessing knowing Adalphna!
Mom was always busy….gardening, sewing, or selling makeup…and always with a smile on her face. I’ll always remember her telling me the story of how she lost her glasses as a child as she was coming back from hoeing weeds in the field, and how she expected to find one of the cows wearing them.
We so enjoyed visiting with Adalphna, always sharing her gardening tips. She was a great neighbor.
So sorry for your loss Glenn
I am so sorry to hear about Adalphna’s passing. What a fun, feisty and sweet lady. She will be greatly missed. Prayer’s for peace and comfort.
We have fond memories of this precious lady. We were blessed to know her through Meals on Wheels. She was a loving, genuine soul who always had a smile on her face. She was beautiful inside and out! We will miss her.
