Beth Ann Unger, 59, of Gordonville, Texas passed away on Friday, March 3rd after her short and intense battle with ovarian cancer.
Beth Ann was born on August 21st, 1963, to Tom & Katie Thomas in Garland, Texas and graduated from North Garland High School in 1981.
Beth Ann went on to excel in multiple careers over the years, from managing a jewelry store, to being a firefighter/paramedic, city development manager, waste management, and information technology professional to name a few.
She loved to spend her time outdoors, enjoying a round of golf or taking the boat out with her friends and family. She was also an incredible cook and had a strong affinity for travel.
Beth Ann had a knack for being just who she needed to be for each person in her life. She enjoyed making connections and mentoring others. She found ways to inspire others, lift them up, and help them become the best they could be.
In 2008, Beth Ann married Roger Unger in Trophy Club, TX. Combined, they have three sons – Justin & Jordan Gregory, and Christian Unger.
Beth Ann was preceded in death by her parents Tom & Katie Thomas. She is survived by her husband Roger Unger, children Justin & Ashley Gregory, Jordan & Madison Gregory, Christian & Krystal Unger, brother Mike Thomas, sister Donna & Larry White, and grandchildren Jace & Ashton Gregory, Leighton & Merrick Unger, and Luke & Hudson Methenitis.
Services will be held at Meador Funeral Home at 401 Hwy 377 North, Whitesboro, TX 76273 on Wednesday, March 8th at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA), an organization that is working to find a cure for the cancer that took her.
