Jeanne Ellen Patterson, age 87, passed away in the early hours of February 13, 2023. She was surrounded by her son and daughter who both loved her very much. Jeanne was born on April 5, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank Patterson and Dorothy Grace (Caulfield) Patterson.
Jeanne had a life well lived and eventful. She grew up in Virginia on a farm. She graduated from Brigham Young University, and did post graduate work at University of Arizona, UCLA, and National Autonomous University of Mexico. Jeanne grew up working in the family business and was involved with politics as a consultant to two US Senators, a Mexican Federal Senator, a US Governor and a President of the United States.
Jeanne loved her family dearly. She always made sure we all learned something new every summer, with some becoming lifelong hobbies of her children. She enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies, artistic pursuits, classical music and, best of all for her family, a gourmet cook. Jeanne leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Frank A. “Teddy” Peinado and Regina A. Gines, and her beautiful grandchildren, Scarlett Grace Peinado and Ava Caroline Peinado.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Frank A. Patterson, Sr., and Dorothy Caulfield Patterson.
It is fortunate for a loved one when they can escape from themselves into love of dear ones and pursuit of all her plans. She had a full schedule of knitting sweaters, painting portraits, and writing, and she had planned to live to 127. We were happy to see Mother enjoy her family that she so dearly loved, and we anticipated from her many days of glory-But it has been otherwise decreed.
Visitation/Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Hwy 377, Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas.

A remarkable lady who raised wonderful children!
I’m so thankful I got to meet your beautiful Mom! She will live on in the hearts of her wonderful children and grandchildren. ❤️
Although I did not know her personally, I know her son very well. The values, compassion and integrity that he demonstrates on a daily basis could only be attributed to how he was raised. Thank you Ms. Patterson for the indirect impact you have had on all of us through Teddy.
May your heart be healed, your mind filled with peace, your body with rest and your soul with comfort, brother.
