Clyde Raymond Cox, 92, of Collinsville, Texas was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus on Friday, August 12, 2022.
Clyde was born on February 24, 1930 in Burns City, TX to Alex ad Bertha Cox. Clyde married his love of 74 years, Billie Juanell Todd, in Sherman, TX on May 15, 1948. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville for many years. He worked as a machinist for over 50 years. Clyde was a big, loving family man, he cherished his family and was always there for them. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play football and riding his horses.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Juanell Cox of Collinsville; son, Don Cox and wife, Carolyn of Collinsville; daughter, Debbie Mitchell of Collinsville; daughter, Audrey Cox of Collinsville; sister, Edna Belle Tyler of Oakridge; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Bertha Cox, son, Randy Cox and son-in-law, Ronnie Mitchell.
Funeral services honoring Clyde will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Jerry Davis. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
