Lawrence Charles Noggler, 80 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on January 13, 2022. He was born on March 14, 1941, in Muenster, Texas to Anton Noggler and Susanna Koelzer Noggler.
Lawrence attended Muenster High School and graduated from Era High School. He loved his family, gardening, taking care of his yard, fruit trees and watching football on TV. Lawrence served his country in the US Army. He went onto work at a rock crusher until the accident with caused his disability and began repairing lawn mowers. He also did dirt track racing for many years
Lawrence is survived by Magdolen Yosten, Agnes Meurer, Rita Coutorie, Louise Wimmer and husband, Jerry, Virginia (Sweetie) Noggler, 10 nephews and 8 nieces.
Preceded in death by wife, Niva; brothers, Alvin Noggler, Ted Noggler, Joe Noggler; sister, Evelyn Fritz; brother-in-law, Martin Fritz, Jim Keiser, Herbest Yosten, John Dave Meurer and Larry Coutorie; nephew, Gary Murrell, Stephen Wimmer and Chad Fritz, sister-in-law, Pat Noggler.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas. Rev. Doyle Henderson will preside over the service.
Always liked to be around this fellow. As a teammate and later on in life. Seemed always happy.l am sorry.
I enjoyed having a friendship with Lawrence. I first met him when he worked in the oilfield. Then I visited with him regularly through his lawnmower business. We were country neighbors and he will be missed by many. I’m sorry for your loss. Butch Stone

I remember lawrence when he lived near Hood. He was a very talented athlete. We both rode the same school bus from ERA.
