George was a gentle soul, a loving son and a sweet brother to me. He was a Momma’s boy and I know when Jesus met at Heavens gate Momma, Daddy, Steve and Uncle Calvin were there waiting. He will be greatly missed here but he is home. He is not hurting any more. I love you George and will see you again. Betty xo

George was one of the good ones. He had a kind heart and soul. Always loved him and always will.
George was the sweetest soul and good hearted person. I loved him then and will forever.
George was one the nicest guys that I went to school with – He was crazy in a good way – lots of fun to be around and laugh with. I remember seeing him shortly after he bought the store that he had worked in during High School. I was on one of my few visits back home and made a point to stop and congratulate him on his new endeavor. Going to a small school allowed us all to be friends and stay in touch with each other and have many wonderful memories, many of those of George usually included Ron Presson. I’m sure there was a big reunion when George got there. I really wish he had made our class/school reunions in the past few years – would have loved to see him again. Until we meet again George. Prayers to Judy, Robert, Kay, Betty and the rest of the family. I am so sorry I couldn’t be at the service, but you were all in my thoughts and prayers.
He was a staple at the cafe every morning! His smile and gentle spirit will be missed by all.
