Richard E. Hernandez, 83 of Valley View, Texas passed away on July 5, 2021. He was born on April 8, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Ricardo Hernandez and Trinidad Elizando. He married Antonia Morales on January 23, 1960. Richard worked as a Security Guard and Golf Course Supervisor.
Richard is survived by: wife, Antonia Hernandez; sons, Richard Hernandez, Teo Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez; daughters, Antonia Roberts, Lupe Graham, Teresa Kohler; 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose, Albert, Jessie, Eddie Hernandez; sisters, Maria, Clara, Billie, Lucy.
Preceded in death; parents; grandson, Christopher Young; great-grandaughter, Cecelia Garza; great-grandson, Laken Oyervides.
Rosary/visitation at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Service, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Gainesville, Texas on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment at Valley View Cemetery.
