Wallace Wayne Bickford, 56, of Gainesville, TX passed away on April 14, 2020 at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville.

Wallace was born on June 19, 1963 to James and June Bickford in Hammond, Louisiana. He was a Heavy Equipment operator for the City of Gainesville. Wallace loved racing especially on his motorcycles. He loved to fish and being outdoors. Wallace also enjoyed building things. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together again. Wallace loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.

Wallace is survived by his mother June Sprouse and husband Don of Shephard, TX; son Bradley and wife Amy of Tickfaw, LA son Jason and wife Whitney of Lumberton, TX; grandchildren Beau Bickford of Tickfaw, LA and Elena Bickford of Lumberton, TX; sister Terry and husband Larry Bona of Whitesboro, TX; brother Ronald “Buddy” Bickford and wife Connie of Ponchatoula, LA. His significant other Donna McEwan of Gainesville, TX and grandson Collin Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his father James Bickford; sister Sandra K. Arnold; grandparents Bill and Ellen “Birdie” Barron, George and Lillie Bickford.

Visitation will be limited to 10 persons in the chapel at one time due to federal restrictions.
