Royce Lynn Blair, 63, of Pottsboro, Texas (formerly of Collinsville) was called to his eternal home on Friday, March 27, 2020.
Royce was born on November 16, 1956 to Roy and Carlyn Blair. He was an excellent carpenter and left his mark on many homes. He was in charge of building the home that his parents lived in for the past 20 years. Royce loved riding motorcycles. He made friends everywhere he went. Royce professed Christ and was baptized many years ago. The Bible is very clear how important it is for a person to humble themselves and hold fast their confession. May our son, father and brother rest in peace.
He is survived by his parents, Roy and Carlyn Blair, son, Hank Blair and wife, Joni, and daughter, Elayna Blair, two grandchildren, Logan and Hannah and sister, Diane Clingan and husband, Terry.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Sorry for your loss
I am so sorry for the families untimely loss. I will always remember the good times I had with Royce growing up together. We hauled hay, ran around and played football, basketball, and baseball together. He had a cannon for an arm as a quarterback.
I just learned about Royce passing while reading the Whitesboro paper, sorry to hear about this. Royce and I spent a lot of time together while growing up, he was a friend and I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend time together in the later years. My prayers are with you.
