Anna Dyer, 85, of Gainesville passed away on January 6, 2020 at her residence. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2020 at Jackson Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma.
Anna was born on September 21, 1934 to Ulysses and Gladys Mize in Bennington, Ok. Anna was a homemaker all her life. She loved to cook for her family and loved to do genealogy. She loved her family very much and loved spending time with them. A wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always ready to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Swartz and Lori Dyer both of Gainesville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Don Mize of Denton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mark Dyer and seven siblings.
We have another Angel watching over us all She was one of the sweetest and kindest ladies I ever knew. I will never be able to thank her enough for all the love and help she gave my mother. I was so blessed to have Mom and Pop Mize for grandparents and all of the Uncles and Aunts that loved us all and helped raise us all.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of our family but more especially with Kathy and Lori and their children who were the world to Johnny.
So sorry for your loss! Prayers for all!
Johnnie and I went through high school together and have been friends since then. I can’t even remember not having her as one of my best friends. I will miss her so much. My prayers go to the family left behind.
