Hollis, 96, of Whitesboro, Texas, will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Dixie Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas, with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. She passed away Wednesday, September 7th at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman, Texas.She was born October 10, 1919. She was married to R. W. McDonald and Ray Hollis who preceded her in death. She was a secretary in a family owned business, R. W. McDonald Builder, having built numerous nursing homes. She loved to garden and grow beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by a sister, Dell Bond and also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, William A. McDonald; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
