April 17, 1948 –  July 22, 2017  GAINESVILLE – Graveside services for Golda La-Freda Lones, 69, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville with Kaji Price officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. No formal visitation is planned. Golda passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
She was born on April 17, 1948 in Plainview, Texas to J.C. “Chock” and Febbie Lou (Shurbet) Graham. She married Wayne Lones on June 19, 1970 in Swisher County, Texas. She worked in retail sales and was a great wife, mother and grandmother, helping raise her grandchildren. Her family was her life.
Survivors include a son, Donny Lones and wife, Dale of Gainesville; two grandchildren, Zoe Lones of Gainesville and Michelle Lones of Gainesville; a brother, Hershel Graham and wife, Jackie of Lubbock; a sister in law, Paula Lones; and an aunt, Frances Pilcher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chock and Febbie Graham; and her husband, Wayne Lones.
