August 18, 1932 –  December 8, 2010  ANNA – Funeral Services for Lillie Mae Weir, 78, of Anna, TX will be held Saturday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Family visitation will be held prior to the services at 1:00 p.m. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, TX.Lillie Mae Weir died in McKinney, TX on December 8, 2010.
She was born to Gene and Ruby (Rayburn) Shields on August 18, 1932 in Honey Grove, TX. She married W. T. “Mike” Weir on August 24, 1951. She worked-served at the Wesvaco Factory for 37 years. She was a committed, private person who gave devoted care to her family.
She is survived by her son, Mike Weir, and wife, Donna, of Anna, TX; her sisters, Imogene Millaway, of Carrollton, TX and Janet Kay Trusley, of Carrollton, TX; three grandchildren, Jeanna Falcon, Shannon Rodgers, and Christina Moore; Lee Yelley; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. T. “Mike” Weir, and her parents, Gene and Ruby Shields.
