February 1, 1930 – January 29, 2011 A memorial service for Lester Ott (80) will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Family Life Church with Pastor Larry Eberhart officiating.
Mr. Ott was born February 1, 1930, in Norwich, Kansas to Floyd and Vera (Bailey) Ott. He died January 29, 2011 at Renaissance Care Center. Lester owned and operated Ott Collision Repair. He served in the US Army and was on the military track team. Lester married Chriss Pendergrass December 23, 1953 in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Ott loved music, especially the piano and guitar and used his talents to volunteer at nursing homes for twenty-five years. He was a member of Family Life Church.
Survivors of Lester Ott include son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Barbara Ott of Buckley, Washington; granddaughter, Melissa Ott; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amy Ott of Gainesville and grandchildren Tammy Cooper, Courtney Puckett, Brandon Ott, Nick Ott, Jess Patrick and Josh Patrick; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Jared Cook of Gainesville and grandchildren, Rachel Davis, Allyson Davis, Chelsea Cook and Chloe Larabee; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Wendy Ott of Lindsay and grandchildren, Justin Ott, Kyle Ott and Macey Ott; great-grandchildren, Kelby, Kolton, Bailey, Alyce, Zack, Izaiah and Jaeli; brothers, Lloyd Ott, Duane Ott, Gary Ott and Gail Ott; sisters, Boots Ott and Janie Luman and his beloved dog, Petunia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Chriss Ott, parents, Floyd and Vera Ott, sisters, Janice Lowe and Pauline Kepner and a brother, Louie Ott.
