Linda Kay (Autry) Williams of Whitesboro, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2018. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend to all who knew and loved her. She was born on January 25, 1944 in Merced, California and moved to Whitesboro when she was 12. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary W. “Buddy” Williams of Whitesboro, TX; sister, Janet Autry of Whitesboro, Texas; daughter, Aleisha Gravit (Mark) of Colleyville, Texas; daughter, Leah Robertson of Grapevine, Texas; grandson, Christian Robertson of Dallas, Texas; granddaughter, Avery Robertson of College Station, Texas; nephew, Lee Pool (Stephanie) of Ingram, Texas and nephew Gary Pool (Mandy) of Edgewood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents James Floyd Autry and Geraldine (Corrynne) Autry of Whitesboro, Texas.
She retired from Chevron Texaco in 2004. In 2008, she and Buddy retired and relocated to Whitesboro from Houston, Texas. She loved her family and had a passion for animals. She never met a stray she didn’t feed.
A celebration of her life will be held at First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, Texas on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Judith Reedy officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SPCA of Texas in memory of Linda Williams.
