December 3, 1929 –  October 3, 2012  WHITESBORO ? Funeral services for Janetta R. White, 82, will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dixie Cemetery. Family visitation will be Friday, October 5, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.She passed away on October 3, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
She was born on December 3, 1929 to Rufus R. and Bonnie Hazel (Hobbs) Rodgers in Roane, Texas. She married L. W. ?Bill? White on December 18, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas. They were married until his passing on August 13, 1991. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Whitesboro, Texas. She loved her church and church family. She was a member of the Whitesboro Community since 1963. She enjoyed church, sewing, gardening, fishing, and bird watching. She loved family gatherings with B-B-Q and horseshoes. She loved helping others.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Robeson and husband, Roy, of Whitesboro, TX; her son, Jim White and wife, Susan, of Whitesboro, TX; grandchildren: Beverly White, Deborah Blakeley and husband, Bill; Christy Click, Kimberly Robeson, Justin Robeson, and Maegan Robeson; and great-grandchildren: Courtney Hale, Joy Hale, Jacquelin Blakeley, Daryll Click and Jessika Click.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. W. ?Bill? White; her parents: Rufus and Bonnie Rodgers; and her son, Donald W. White.
Pallbearers will Ezell Peyrot, Gaylon Parker, Brandon Parker, Tom Sims, Gary Grantham and Jerry Rollins.
