Ron and I worked together as dispatchers at Grayson County. He taught me so much and was the best dispatcher I had the honor of knowing. He was an acquired taste, but that was the reason for many laughs, discussions, and problem-solving. I will miss you, Ron.
Thank you very much maam.
Ron Blackwell Family – So sorry for your loss. Ron was an enthusiastic and beneficial asset to the Grand Prairie Fire Department. Always eager to assist when needed, Ron was very intelligent and helpful to me on a number of occasions. The loss of Ron will be felt by many who experienced his servant heart in the communities he served.

Thank you guys very much. Hugs to you.
Ron was a talented and special person! He became part of our lives when I was privileged to join SouthPark Baptist Church in visiting Israel. Carol shared him in escorting all the old ladies, jokingly called his harem. I was “wife #9” on the wonderful trip. Carol, Ben, and Ron became family! Heaven gets sweeter!
Carol and Ben I want you to know my heart goes out to you both. Poppa Ron was truly one of a kind. I enjoyed his presence every time I was blessed to see him. He was so funny and very well versed in so much. Heaven has truly gained one sweet angel. All my love to you. 🥰
