Michael Howard Price (65) of Gainesville, TX passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024; surrounded by family. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 with visitation starting at 1:00pm before the funeral service at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville, TX. Burial will follow at Callisburg Cemetery.
Michael was born on December 14, 1958 in Paducah, TX to Arvel Price and Betty (Gordon) Price. Michael was raised in Callisburg, TX and graduated from Callisburg High School. Michael worked at Southwest International Trucks for over 35 years working in various roles of parts, mechanic, management and sales.
Michael is survived by his son Aaron Price and wife Kaylyn; grandchildren Ryder and Brooklyn Price of Sanger, TX; brothers: Eugene Price and wife Gale of Whitesboro, TX and Steven Price and wife Eskai of Whitesboro, TX. Former wife and good friend Vickie Price of Gainesville, TX. Nieces and Nephews: Chance Milligan, Jeana Martin, Tamsyn Price, Kay Lee Price and Jody Price.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Arvel and Betty Price; brother Dale Price; half-sister Susan Evans; and brother-in-law Michael Ray Milligan.

So very sorry to hear this news. I have know Michael and Eugene since high school and always thought highly of him. Having many interactions with him in the trucking industry he was always professional in his dealings.

I have gotten to know and work with MIke over the many many years we have worked for Southwest. He was a great friend and counterpart! He was also always good for a lot of laughs! i will desperately miss the pranks the laughs as well as his endless knowledge about the International products and our customer. I am so sorry I cannot attend his service. My prayers are with his family.

I am so saddened by Michaels passing. I’ve known all of those guys most of my life and have a lot of good memories including Michael. I’m gonna miss him giving me a hard time, (about everything!), and I hope that the memories of his kindness, wit and humor, will help his friends and family to work through the pain of losing him.
