June 3, 1926 – April 8, 2014 Laura Fay Willham, 87, of Rowlett (formerly of Gainesville) passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 3, 1926, to the late Rose and Howard Dunford. Laura married Louis E. Willham July 27, 1946. She had worked as an administrative assistant.
Mrs. Willham is survived by daughters, Cyndi Neely and husband, Dennis of The Colony and Starleen Frye and husband, Ken of Rowlett; grandchildren, Carissa Vanstory and husband, Eric, Jeff Wilkinson and wife, Mattie, Neatherly Waltz, Stephanie Frye and Adam Frye; great-grandchildren, Breanne Vanstory, Kaylee Vanstory, Lindsay Vanstory, Cassidy Wilkinson, Cambree Wilkinson and Shawn Frye; sister, Patricia Gaedicke; brother, Bruce Dunford and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Craig E. Willham and siblings, June Dunford, Dolly Mampel and Howard Dunford.
A private family graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 11th, at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Dennis Neeley, Ken Frye, Jeff Wilkinson, Eric Vanstory, Adam Frye and Eric Waltz will serve as pallbearers. No visitation is planned.
