July 6, 1929 –  April 14, 2014  Bobby Buffington, 84, of Valley View passed away April 14, 2014, in Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Buffington was born July 6, 1929, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to J. H. and Gertrude Buffington. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 41 years and served in the U. S. Marines during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Patsy of Valley View and seven children; Sheree Dutton, Nancy Horn, Bobbie Duke, Ruth Ann Howard, Gerald Buffington, Darrell Buffington and Rebecca Montgomery and two step-children; Wayne Cearley and Lyndon Cearley; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
There will not be any visitation and private graveside services under the direction of Meador Clement-Keel Funeral Home will be held at Valley View Cemetery.
