Gladys Ann Gordon “GiGi”
Gladys was born on October 8, 1937 to Tony and Angie Yosten Wiesman in Muenster Texas. She was raised on the family farm north of Muenster. She attended Gainesville High School, graduating in 1955. Gladys married Bill Terry and had three children. After staying home with her young children, she worked her entire career as a secretary for Continental Emsco and Lake Kiowa Water Supply, where she retired in 2014.
She was a fierce advocate for her children and grandchildren and loved them like no other. Some of her favorite times were being outdoors in the sun and listening to Jimmy Buffett on her son’s boats or in the sand. A long time Parrot Head!
The angels took Gladys home on April 19, 2024 in Sherman Tx surrounded by family.
Gladys is survived by family members:
Buster Kubis, sons Tim Terry and wife Kathy, Tye Terry and wife Sarah, Daughter Traci Charrier and husband Robert. Grandsons Sylar Sparkman and wife Brittany, Chisam Wolf and granddaughters Kaci Caffey and husband Jerrid, Katy Wolf and Kayla Sandmann and 6 great grandchildren.
Predeceased family members include her parents, brothers Don (Shirley) Weisman, Louis (Dorothy) Weisman, her 2nd husband Mike Gordon and a grandson Wesley Wolf.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Funeral Service will also be held at Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 10:00 am, Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.

Gladys was very kind to me and loved seeing her in church; until she couldn’t. 🙁
Her eyes would light up talking about her grandchildren. 🙂 As you remember all you’re wonderful times together know that she is in a better place and out of pain.
