February 27, 1939 – August 24, 2014 GORDONVILLE – Funeral services for Cleo May Kennedy, 75, will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at 10 a.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas. Interment will follow the service in Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation services will be held Wednesday, August 27, from 6 -8 p.m. at the funeral home.She passed away in Gordonville, Texas on August 23, 2014.
Cleo was born on February 27, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Lester and Maybelle (Regal) Bollinger. She was of the Christian faith. She was a nurse. She loved to paint. Cleo also enjoyed playing the piano and singing.
She is survived by her children: Brenda Kennedy Donoho and her husband, David, of Gordonville; Gwendolyn Welsh of Pampa; William Keith Kennedy, and his wife, Karena, of Sacramento, CA; and Doyle Kennedy, Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Melissa; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Bollinger, of Chicago, IL; and sister, Joan Milligan, of Greenwood, DE.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Maybelle Bollinger; and brothers, Gerald Bollinger and James Bollinger.
Pallbearers will be Doyle Kennedy, Josh Kennedy, Billy Kennedy, Candice Blake, Greg Caroty, and Brian Kennedy.
