June 10, 1942 –  August 25, 2014  Fred Carr Bearden, Jr. died Monday, August 25, 2014 at his residence in Whitesboro at the age of seventy-two. He had battled cancer for many years. Fred was born in Oswalt, Oklahoma June 30, 1942 to Velma Ruth (Chisum) Jones and Fred Carr Bearden, Sr. He was an oilfield worker and loved fishing, cooking, gardening and canning.
Mr. Bearden is survived by a son, Freddie Eugene Bearden of Oklahoma; sisters, Brenda Taylor of Whitesboro and Debra Carver of Springtown and brother, Raymond Jackson of Elk City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family of Fred Bearden, Jr. wishes to extend a special thanks to Anita of Hospice Plus. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
