Gregory Len Huff, 61, of Celina, Texas was called home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Greg was born on May 6, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to James and Nina (Brown) Huff. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science and worked for Huff Funeral Home. After leaving Huff he spent most of his career with Jagoe public and finished his career with D&L Farm and Home. He married Linda Sue Sharp on November 23, 1991 in Whitesboro, Texas. Greg was a member of the Grace Baptist Fellowship in Celina and a 32nd degree Mason with the Whitesboro Masonic Lodge # 263 AF & AM. He enjoyed mowing, taking care of horses and tinkering around with tractors. He loved the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Huff of Celina; son, Joshua Huff and wife, Kayla of Gorman; daughter, Courtney Jo Wilkerson and husband, Brian of Wylie; son, Jerry Lewis of Childress; son, John Cothrin of Collinsville; daughter, Elisha Cothrin of Wylie; grandchildren, Jaxon and Jett Wilkerson, Lesley Bond, Cassie and JJ Espinosa, Ryan Halfmann, and Tucker Lewis, great-grandson, Audie Cash Bond, sister, Heather Cheek, sister, Megan Wolf and husband, Derek, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nina Huff, daughter, Missy Halfmann, and sister, Penny Huff.
Funeral services honoring Greg will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Roy Spore. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
