November 20, 1950 –  May 8, 2016  Celebration of Life Services for Xina Davison, 65, of Collinsville, Texas, will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Collinsville Church of Christ with Ricky Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas. She died Sunday, May 8th at the Homestead Health and Rehab, Collinsville, with her family by her side.She was born to Clay and Mildred (Ingram) Landers on November 20, 1950, in Denton, Texas. Xina was graduated by Collinsville High School as Valedictorian of the Class of 1969 and received an Associate of Science in Journalism from Grayson County College in 1971. She also attended Texas Woman’s University.
She married Jim Davison June 25, 1971, in Collinsville, Texas. She was a member of Collinsville Church of Christ and was Secretary of the Rotary Club. Xina and her husband, Jim, were owners/editors of the Whitesboro News Record for 35 years. She loved to read. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband Jim Davison of Collinsville, sons, Clint and Rhett Davison of Collinsville; 1 grandson, Walker Davison; sister, Cladene Belcher and husband, Danny of Whitesboro; brother, Mark Landers, and wife, Debbie of Round Rock, Texas and 2 aunts, Helen Taylor of Collinsville and Mary Jean McElreath of Gainesville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Mildred Landers.
