June 23, 1920 –  December 31, 2007  WHITESBORO รข?? Graveside Services for William Mason Branam, 87, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas with L.V. Phelps officiating with services directed by Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at the funeral home.
William passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at his home in Whitesboro.

William was born June 23, 1920 in Edom, TX to Henry Marlin and Edna Mae (Ramsey) Branam. He married Frances Gay Nell Barnes in Hill County. William served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a union carpenter by trade, a member of the VFW and was a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Joyce Campbell and husband Lonnie of Lake Dallas, Suzanne Schultz Maybank and husband Herbert of Charleston, S.C., Peggy Nell Webb and husband Bobby of Whitesboro, three sons, Robert Samuel Branam and wife Sharon of Danville, VA, John William Branam and wife Patty Ann of Rowlett, Timothy Earl Branam and wife Stacy of Whitesboro, a brother, Hubert Branam of Dexter, KS, four sisters, Catherine Christian of Waxahachie, Helen Drake of Midlothian, Freddie East of Red Oak, Malvanee Matthews of Dawson, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Branam, his parents, Henry and Edna Mae Branam and 8 siblings.
