April 2, 1931 –  January 22, 2016  Funeral services for William Johnson Marshall, 84, will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Larry Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Marshall passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at his home.
William was born on April 2, 1931 in Sandusky to William Washington Marshall and Willie (Johnson) Marshall. He married Betty Anderson on March 2, 1999 in Madill, OK. William was a member of the Nazarene Church. He enjoyed being outside, using the metal detector and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Marshall of Sadler; two sons, Gary Marshall of Sadler and Bobby Marshall of Soledad, CA; seven grandchildren, Rachelle, Joshua, Tiffany, Bobbi, David, William, and Harley; six great-grandchildren; two step-children, Debbie and Joni; and a brother, Jim Marshall of Sherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Willie Marshall; children, Darla Marshall, Eddie Marshall, and Billy Marshall; grandson, Clint; and first wife, Dorothy Marshall.
