June 28, 1944 –  September 9, 2008  GAINESVILLE â?? William H. â??Peteâ? Norman, 64, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. No services are planned at this time.
He was born June 28, 1944 in Pilot Point to Charlie and Ethel Fay (Davlin) Norman. Pete married Dorthy Elizabeth Audrey Russell on Dec. 17, 1965 in Denton.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Norman of Gainesville, daughter, Kim Kopper and husband Randy of Gainesville, daughters, Jesse and Jas, 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
