September 24, 1929 –  May 6, 2010  GORDONVILLE – Graveside Services for William “Calvin” Mason, 80, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Liberty Cemetery in Gordonville. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro will be in charge of services. A family visitation will be from 1 P.M. until 2:00 P.M Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the funeral home.
Mr. Mason passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Calvin was born on September 24, 1929 in Big Springs, Texas to Bailey F. and Rosa Lee (Edmiston) Mason. He married Pauline Bailey on October 23, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas. Williams was of the Baptist faith and retired from Container Corporation of America after 35 years of service.

Survivors include his daughter, Beckie Ford of Gordonville; daughter-in-law, Kelly Mason; a brother, Marvin Mason and wife Delorise of Gordonville; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bailey and Rosa Mason; wife, Pauline Mason and 2 sons, Micky Mason and Brett Mason.
