February 9, 1934 –  June 23, 2011  Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25th at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion for Wanda Ruth Ritchie. Rev. Darlene Conner of Christian Temple will officiate the service. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Ritchie died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Atrium Medical Center in Corinth.
Wanda was born February 9, 1934 in Gainesville, Texas to William Henry and Carrie Bell (Owens) Briggs. She married Willie Ritchie on March 22, 1952. Mrs. Ritchie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Wanda Ritchie is survived by her husband, W.M. Ritchie of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, James Henry Ritchie of Gainesville, Michael Dewayne Ritchie of Gainesville, Bobby Gene and Paula Ritchie of Gainesville, Donald Lee Ritchie of Gainesville and J.B and Ashley Ritchie of Callisburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Jackie Peake of Kentucky, Galla and Ray McGuill of Callisburg and Carrie and Dean Dillon of Krum; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Ritchie.
