May 21, 1932 –  March 28, 2015  Lifetime Cooke County resident, Wanda Alice Kirk, 82, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home. She was born in Gainesville, Texas May 21, 1932, the daughter of Alfred and Ruth (Swafford) Dickman. Wanda was a graduate of Era High School. She was employed by Cooke County Jr. College before retiring. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 4th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
Survivors include children and their spouses, Toni and Randy Gentle of Sanger, Tracy and Nancy Kirk of Gainesville, Pam Almon of Gainesville and Tim and Brenda Kirk of Krum; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Janet Dickman of Illinois; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
