July 17, 1930 – October 7, 2006 Whitesboro รข?? Funeral Services for Wallace Glenn Underwood, 76, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, Oct. 9, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Harold Watson, Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church in Whitesboro and Rev. Mike Flanagan, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Whitesboro officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Wallace passed away Saturday, October 07, 2006 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington.
He was born July 17, 1930 in Cooke County, Texas to Burt and Rosetta (Norris) Underwood. Wallace married Nelma Sissney on February 11, 1950 in Gainesville. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Nelma Underwood of Whitesboro; a son, Les Underwood and wife Bonnie of Whitesboro; a daughter, Lisa Stillman and husband Andrew of Horn Lake, Mississippi; five grandchildren, T.J. Underwood of McKinney, Kathryn and Liana Stillman of Horn Lake, Mississippi and Russell and Kyle Townsley of Whitesboro; and three great-grandchildren.
