April 24, 1937 –  September 25, 2012  Virgle Schneider, 75, of Gainesville, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at North Texas Medical Center. Funeral Services for Mr. Schneider will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27th at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Bill Black, Pastor of Grand Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in New Rest Haven Cemetery with Robert Hogan, Lance Wright, Greg Zimmerer and Tony Alardin serving as pallbearers. No visitation is planned.

Virgle was born April 24, 1937, the son of Augustus and Maudie Dessrine (Horner) Schneider. He was a Gainesville High School graduate and had served in the Army National Guard. Virgle had worked in sales and welding supply at Schad and Pulte and had also been employed by Linda Jo Shoe Factory.

Survivors of Virgle Lee Schneider include brothers, James “Jim” Edward Schneider of Gainesville and Bobby Allen Schneider of Gainesville; sister, Betty Wright and her husband Harvey of The Colony; nieces, Charlene Hardin of Pottsboro, Shelley Zimmerer of Muenster, Kathryn Alardin of Bedford and Suzanne Wheeler of Gainesville; nephews, Lance Wright of Arlington, Mark Schneider of Brenham and Kent Schneider of Gainesville and many loving great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gus Schneider, Jr. and Jack Horner.
