Virginia Barnhill born June 2, 1941, went to be with Jesus February 18, 2022. Virginia spent her life as a homemaker and loved her family and her pets. Virginia will be remembered by her family for her faith and love for Jesus and being crazy about Christmas, Disney, and hummingbirds. During her marriage she lived in Arizona, California and finally home to Texas.
Survived by her two children, Judith (Roberto) Stufflebeam-Gutierrez and Kevin (Amy) Barnhill. Sisters, Tricia Williford and husband, Phil and Sherri Dudick and husband, Ronnie; Virginia has 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews who she loved as Aunt V.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents George and Evelyn Spires and her husband of 35 years Stanley Barnhill.
Visitation will be held at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville Texas on Friday February 25, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service will also be held at Meador Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 3:00 pm, Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville.

Hello to the family. We were blessed by Virginia’s support and prayers and encouragement. We appreciated her hospitality and visits even on the phone after we left Gainesville. Y’all are the only family of 5 generations of women I’ve known. What big camp Arrowhead supporters too. Love y’all
