Funeral Services for Virginia Choyce Scott, 86, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church in Whitesboro with Dr. Richard Nourse officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Scott passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Claystone Healthcare Center in Ennis.
She was born Jan. 3, 1922 in Van Alstyne to Don and Nanny (Murley) Andrews. She married Charles W. Scott who preceded her in death. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Whitesboro.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Martin, Jr. of Channelview and James N. Scott of Waxahachie, a sister, Glenda Rae Siebert of Grants Pass, Oregon, and two grandsons, Monte James Scott and Joey Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Scott.
