July 14, 1931 –  November 26, 2012  SADLER ? Vira Pauline Godfrey, 81, passed away at her residence on Monday, November 26, 2012 in Sadler, Texas. She was born to Earl and Belle (Ledford) Young on July 14, 1931, in Amarillo, Texas. She is survived by her children: Eddy Godfrey of Dumas, TX; Cathy Chandler of Sadler, TX; Judy Arias of Amarillo, TX; and Peggy Lane of Sadler, TX; brothers, Johnny Wood of Billings, MT; and Don Saye of Milan, NM; sister, Earline Simpson of London, TN; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Godfrey. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. The family plans to hold a memorial at a later date.
