Vickie Lynn Tischler, 59, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to her eternal home on Monday, January 27, 2020.
Vickie was born on January 4, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas to Ralph Raymond and Ora (Hodges) Wooten. She married her husband of 33 years, Roy Tischler on March 5, 1988 in Mountain Springs, Texas. She enjoyed going to the lake, feeding and watching the hummingbirds, crocheting and going to garage sales and estate sales. Vickie loved her family and loved the life she had made with them and her friends.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Tischler of Whitesboro, son, Michael Tischler and wife, Angela of Callisburg, daughter, Amber Tischler of Gainesville, grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Aaron, Brady, Eythan and Makinzy, brother, Bill Wooten and wife, Lou of Callisburg, sister, Patsy Wright of Gainesville, sister, Glenda Rathburn and husband, Darrell of Collinsville, sister, Joyce Hood of Gainesville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ora Wooten as well as several siblings.
Visitation will be held for Vickie from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on January 29, 2020 at the funeral home, officiated by Gene King. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery.
My deepest sympathies to put to Roy and all the family. Vicki is free of all pain and worried now in God’s world called heven. We will meet again at a later date till then she will be missed dearly.
Deepest condolences for your loss. Please take comfort in God’s promise of a Resurrection in the near future, stated in John 5:28, 29. For now Vickie is free of all suffering.

Aunt Vickie will be missed by so many. I loved her so much…she was my Aunt Sis…we have shared lots of joy and tears together, been on numerous “Sister trips ” where we shared lots of laughter and fun. I’m say in my goodbye for now until we meet as fain in Heaven. I love you Aunt Vickie. My prayers are with her her husband & family, who I love very much.
