March 20, 1922 –  March 18, 2013  VERGIE FLORENCE FENLEYWHITESBORO ? Funeral services for Vergie Fenley, 90, will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Lonnie Dotson assisted by Dr. Richard Montgomery. Interment will follow the service at New Rest Haven Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. Visitation services will be Tuesday evening, March 19, from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
She passed away on March 18, 2013 at her residence in Whitesboro, Texas.
She was born on March 20, 1922 in Bolivar, Texas to Newt Singleton and Florence Lavanda (Hicks) Bartlett. She was a member of the Shady Grove Congregational Methodist Church. She was also a member of Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She is survived by her daughters: Melba Daniels and husband, Paul, of Denton, TX; and Dana Kizzar and husband, Larry, of Valley View, TX; eight grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Newt and Florence Bartlett; her daughter Gay Davidson; husband, James Ralph Davidson; four sisters, three brothers; and husband, Robert Fenley.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Truitt, Lee Kizzar, L.A. Bridges, Doug Hefley, Paul Daniels, Jr., and Marty Bartlett.
