February 14, 1912 –  September 7, 2006  Gordonville â?? Vera Beatrice â??Beeâ? Cooper, 94, born Feb. 14, 1912 near Gainesville, Texas, ascended to her eternal home early in the morning of Sept. 7, 2006 with her family by her side. She leaves a legacy of strength and love to her husband of 75 years, John R. â??Bobâ? Cooper and her children, Bob Cooper of Overland, Kansas, Nell Cooper Froning and husband Larry of Richardson, Terry Blake Cooper of Dallas, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday Sept. 9, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. David Freirson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Sherwood Shores Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel Casteel.

Elders and Deacons of Sherwood Shores Chapel will serve as pallbearers.
