May 23, 1932 –  November 24, 2010  Funeral services for Tommye Gaye Wilkerson, 78, of Gainesville will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 29th, at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Mike Haverland, Pastor of Era Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3-4 p.m. at Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilkerson passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at North Texas Medical Center.

Tommye Gaye was born in May 23, 1932 in Graham, Texas to Harry and Mattie E. (Glidwell) Gaskin. She married Curtis Joe Wilkerson July 19, 1957 in Gainesville. Mrs. Wilkerson taught school for the Valley View ISD before retiring. She was a member of Era Church of Christ.

Survivors of Tommye Gay Wilkerson include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Shannon Wilkerson of Valley View; sister-in-law, Billie Gaskin of Jacksboro and granddaughter, Riley Wilkerson of Valley View. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Wilkerson in 2008.
