October 20, 1911 –  May 21, 2011  Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Mary Koesler Hermes is scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, May 25th at Centennial Hall in Lindsay, with Father Raymond McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peterâ??s Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. followed by family visitation.
Mrs. Hermes, 99, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at her residence in Lindsay. She was born in Lindsay, Texas on October 20, 1911 to Alfons and Mary (Fuhrmann) Koesler. She married Anthony Henry Hermes November 19, 1935 in Lindsay. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hermes was a member of St. Annâ??s Society, St. Ceciliaâ??s Choir, Angels of Mercy Choir, Third Order of the Secular Franciscans and St. Peterâ??s Catholic Church. Theresa had worked for Linda Jo Shoe Factory and was a homemaker. She loved quilting, crocheting, gardening, canning and loved her flowers.

Theresa Mary Hermes is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Cyril C. Hermes of Lake Dallas, Cecil A. and Doris Hermes of Sherman, Mark J. and Delores Hermes of Woodbine, Ralph J. and Debbie Hermes of Gainesville, Francis J. Hermes of Lindsay and Randolph J. Hermes of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary Ann and Thomas Dankesreiter of Muenster; sister, Sister Mary Lin Koesler, C.D.P. of San Antonio; Sisters-in-law, Evelyn Koesler of Muenster and Mary Ann Koesler of Muenster; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
