February 24, 1940 –  December 26, 2013  Graveside services for Sandra Jane Hott, 73, of Gainesville will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 30th at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. David Carlson, Pastor of Harvest Time Church of God officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 ? 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Mrs. Hott passed away December 26, 2013 after a short illness.

Sandra was born on February 24, 1940 in Gainesville to Lee Earl Howard and Willie Beryl Lane-Howard. Sandra married W.R. Hott on February 17, 1960 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was employed as an activity director of several nursing homes. She loved attending all of her sons’ sports activities while ringing her cow bell to cheer them on. If you knew Sandy at all, you knew her love for Elvis Presley.

Sandra Hott is survived by sons, Tim Hott and wife, Pennye of Callisburg, Steve Hott and wife, Valerie of Kentucky, Randy Hott and girlfriend, Cheryl Sutton of Gainesville and David Hott and wife Stacie of Gainesville; grandchildren, Carrie, Ashley, Sandi, Leslie, Randi, Keaton, Savanah, Darsey, Jewell and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Harlen, Ashlynn, Ryan, James, Serenity and Dayton; niece, Janie Wheeldon and nephews, Larry and Mike Day. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Hott, sister, Danny Day, parents, Willie Beryl and Lee Howard, step-dad, Lloyd Litton Brundage, grandsons, Gregg and Creig and great-grandson, Carter.
