February 9, 1945 –  January 26, 2016  Gainesville resident Sandra Irene Haverkamp, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Denton Presbyterian Hospital. She was born February 9, 1945 in Gainesville, the daughter of Albert and Opal (Stogdill) Shaw. Sandra was employed as a social worker before retiring and was a member of Whaley United Methodist Church
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29th at Whaley United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.

Survivors include a niece, Kathleen Nolan of Gainesville; nephew, Phillip Nolan of Gainesville; cousins, Carolyn Bruehl of Norman, Oklahoma and Mary Katherine Hall of Houston; uncle, Ivan Stogdill of Weatherford, brother-in-law, Bill Nolan of Gainesville; daughter, Leslie Cryer of Louisiana; cousin, Stephanie Stogdill of Gainesville and great-niece, Acelee Barteau of Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Paula Nolan.
