December 9, 1944 –  October 12, 2008  WHITESBORO â?? Memorial Mass for Sally Lee Ellis, 63, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Jeremy Myers officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. A Rosary will be held at 6 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ellis passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at her home in Whitesboro.

Sally was born December 9, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Salvatore and Talitha M. (Taylor) Fanelli. She married Frank Robert Ellis on April 3, 1971 in Grand Prairie, Texas. She worked for 20 plus years as a Caterer for Lundyâ??s in Kentucky. Sally was a member of the Red Hat Society, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Francis of Assisi Womanâ??s Guild and church choir, Civil Air Patrol, Ern Messina Show-case Playerâ??s Theatre and Navy Squadron Wives. She was also a Special Olympics volunteer.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Robert Ellis of Whitesboro; daughters, Monika Harris and husband Jay of Murphy, Texas, Donna Morrell and husband Robert of Whitesboro, Amy Maxey and husband Tracy of Whitesboro; a son, Frank Ellis, II of Whitesboro; 2 sisters, Natalie Bell of Gun Barrell City, Texas, Nancy Croney of Whitesboro; a brother, Michael Fanelli of North Richland Hills, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Salvatore Fanelli and Billie MacFadden; and a brother, John Patrick Fanelli.
